We are now offering booking services for your African safari experience.

Our outfitter in Namibia is Jan Oelofse Hunting Safaris. Jan Oelofse is one of the oldest outfitters in Namibia and one of the most reputable in the industry.

On an 80 000 acre large privately owned property, home to all the big game such as elephants, white & black rhino, hippo, leopard, cheetah and lion, as well as all the other species on our price list and many more, your hunt will be truly an African experience. Once you leave the hunting lodge, you will be on hunting grounds, in the midst of pristine Namibian wilderness, teeming with wildlife. The diverse Namibian landscape includes mountain ranges, savanna, bush and open grass plains and provides a habitat for a wide range of animals. Hundreds of different bird species thrive in our area, as do non-huntable rare species such as the serval, bat-eared fox, aardwolf and aardvark. Another 120 000 acres of surrounding concession area are available for hunting species whose territories are more extensive, such as leopard.

The hunt is configured according to your very personal requirements and expectations. Elderly and disabled clients are able to approach most species by car, but other hunters prefer a good stalk. Parents taking their children on a first-time hunt can rest assured that our PHs are excellent mentors of the hunting trade. Non-hunting observers are welcome to come along on the hunting adventure. Many of our clients bring along their families.

Both my hunting partner and I have hunted with Jan Oelofse as regular paying clients. The experience was spectacular, the territory vast, and the trophies exceptional. Below are some pics of some of the animals and area.

HuntignLodge1

The ‘hunting camp’ in the evening.

NA20

In the mountains, you’ll find klipspringer, kudu, and oryx. That’s our PH, Steve leading the way.

NA8

NA14

Just one example of the quality trophy animals we encountered. This blue wildebeest bull will make book.

NA16

Waterbuck are plentiful but the big bulls gave us a good run for our money.

NA6

The gemsbok are wild and cagy but if you are patient and dedicated you can connect with a nice quality bull like this.

Springbok2

Springbok are abundant. You’ll go into “Springbok withdrawal” after you get home. Make sure you bring back a cranker of a ram like this one to take the edge off.

Black W

This was my son’s first kill of the hunt. A beautiful, quality, black wildebeest bull.

NA3

It will probably make book.

NA29

The Black-faced impala is native to Namibia. They are larger than common impala and have the signature blackface just as their name suggests. This one will likely make book.

NA22

We saw lots of very large warthogs… everywhere!

SteenbokB

We hunted steenbok in the neighboring concessions. They are small, fast and exciting to hunt. My son connected with this one on the second last day of the hunt.

NA25

My last day kudu bull. Nice width, great mass and a third horn growing from the center of his skull.

NA26

The last kill of the hunt. My son’s common impala.

Zimpalacommon

Jan Oelofse will provide you with an exceptional African experience that you will remember and treasure for a lifetime. I know I wouldn’t trade mine and my son’s for anything this world has to offer.

If you are interested in discussing a hunt in Namibia and would like more information about the area and the process I am happy to set up a time with you where we can sit down and discuss the details.
